Robin and Sozi go on a three mile hike up to the Wisdom Tree (also call the Tree of Life, and the Dr. Seuss Tree). They brought along the DJI Mavic Pro to capture the panoramic views.
Please note, I am a professional pilot who flies airplanes and helicopters. I utilized a spotter to assist me with aircraft avoidance. We only pulled away from the immediate vicinity of the hilltop after thoroughly "clearing the area" (100% assurance no aircraft are seen nor heard). While flying around the Hollywood sign, we flew closer than any manned aircraft could safely and legally fly, thus again ensuring we posed no collision danger what-so-ever.
Shot on my Mavic Pro while staying on the Garden Island during a work trip. My wife, Karen, was able to airline out and join me! The trip was cut short by a day, so we weren't able to go on another hike (on the Na Pali Trail) and get some more planned shots to finish the video.
